Founded in 1992, AGT Robotics is now recognized as the global leader in robotic welding cells for the structural steel industry. By hosting this press conference, the company served as a showcase of the type of SME the government aims to support: a visionary, export-oriented business that leverages technological innovation and digital transformation to stand out on the global stage.

“It’s an honor for our team to see our journey recognized as a source of inspiration for other Quebec SMEs. The SME Plan sends a strong message encouraging businesses to grow, innovate, and invest in the future,” said Benoît Richard, President of AGT Robotics.

The 2025–2028 SME Plan includes concrete measures to address critical business challenges such as labor shortages, technology integration, the green transition, and business continuity across all regions of Quebec.
