Building Connections
From the moment the show opened, our booth was buzzing. We welcomed visitors from across North America and beyond, sharing insights into their fabrication challenges and exploring how automation can transform their operations. These conversations reaffirmed the importance of face-to-face connections in driving progress for the industry.
Autonomous Welding Redefined
One of the highlights was the presentation by Alex Pelland (AGT Robotics) and Tero Laine (Exact Detailing): “Autonomous Welding Redefined: Cortex AI’s Answer to Fabrication Challenges.”
Their session dove into how Cortex AI, AGT’s proprietary auto-programming platform, is enabling fabricators to overcome complexity, reduce programming time, and accelerate production in ways that traditional approaches simply cannot.
Technology that Turned Heads
Visitors got an up-close look at BeamMaster and BLOK, two of AGT’s flagship robotic welding systems, both powered by Cortex. From high-mix beam fabrication to modular skid welding, the demonstrations sparked genuine excitement. The message was clear: autonomous welding isn’t the future… it’s here!
Beyond the Show Floor
FABTECH is also about celebrating relationships. This year, we were thrilled to host a special evening with valued customers at Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox. It was the perfect setting to relax, share stories, and strengthen partnerships in a fun and memorable way.
Looking Ahead
As the curtains closed in Chicago, the AGT Robotics team left energized and inspired. The connections made, knowledge shared, and innovations displayed remind us why FABTECH is such an important event for the industry.
We’re already counting down to FABTECH Las Vegas 2026 and we can’t wait to see you there!
